With a commitment to sustainability and providing wholesome dining options, we have cultivated a diverse selection of seasonal vegetables and fruits right on our premises.

The beauty of having our own garden lies not only in the exceptional taste and freshness of the produce but also in the assurance of its quality. By growing our own vegetables and fruits, we have complete control over the entire cultivation process, from seed to harvest. We prioritize organic and sustainable practices, avoiding the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals, ensuring that our guests can enjoy nature’s bounty in its purest form.

Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre has taken a significant step towards sustainability by implementing a new initiative aimed at reducing the usage of single-use plastic water bottles within its bottling plant. In line with our commitment to environmental responsibility, we have ceased the purchase and distribution of these plastic-packed water bottles, effectively eliminating the unnecessary generation of plastic waste. This effort has resulted in the prevention of over 34,838 bottles from entering landfills or polluting our surroundings. The decision to discontinue the use of single-use plastic water bottles aligns with our strong dedication to sustainable business practices. By prioritizing eco-friendly alternatives, we aim to minimize the ecological impact associated with the hospitality industry.

This initiative not only reflects our commitment to preserving the environment but also enhances the overall guest experience by providing a more responsible and conscientious approach to hospitality. In place of single-use plastic water bottles, Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre has introduced innovative alternatives that prioritize sustainability without compromising on the quality of service provided to our guests. We now offer a range of environmentally friendly solutions, such as reusable glass bottles in our guest rooms and water dispensers in the fitness area. These initiatives encourage guests to embrace sustainable practices while enjoying the convenience and refreshment they expect during their stay.

The desert Cleanup event held in December 2022 was a significant initiative as part of the Clean UAE campaign, which aimed to promote environmental responsibility and raise awareness about the importance of preserving the desert ecosystem. With the patronage of the Ministry of Climate Change & Environment in the UAE, the campaign garnered widespread support and participation from various organizations, including the Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre.

Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre, a renowned hotel in the region, actively participated in the Desert Cleanup event. The hotel recognized the significance of maintaining a clean and sustainable environment and took this opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The event brought together volunteers from different walks of life, including hotel staff, guests, local residents and environmental enthusiasts. They joined forces in the sweeping desert landscape to collect litter, debris and any other waste that had accumulated over time. The cleanup activities were organized in collaboration with local environmental organizations and government authorities to ensure the efforts were well-coordinated and impactful.
