Al Noor Mosque

Overlooking Khalid Lake is the massive Al Noor Mosque, one of around 600 mosques in the greater Sharjah area and undeniably one of the most widely known; well worth the visit.

Beautifully decorated, Al Noor Mosque dates from 2005 and features a traditional Turkish Ottoman design with elegant white domes and dramatic twin minarets. Notably, the mosque is also open to non-Muslims making it a top tourist attraction in Sharjah.

Guided tours are available weekly through an official operator who provides cultural and religious information to guests while they admire the interior spaces.
